Australia Day for Australian Citizens

26th January is a day we all Australian Citizens are call Australia Day. Historically, it is the anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet from Great Britain in 1788 to set up a convict settlement for the British Government

 

Today, it is a public holiday which all Australian citizens are celebrated throughout the country and the states.

 

In Sydney, there will be evening fireworks held in Darling Harbour.

 

So the questions is what does it mean as an Australian citizens on Australia Day?

 

As an Australian citizens, we honour our history and all the people who have made this nation great. It is a day to rejoice in the present and commit to a happy and prosperous future together.

 

Also large and small communities across Australia celebrate all that is great about Australia and being Australian citizens. It is the biggest annual public event in Australia.

 

Today is also a day where many new immigrant gain their new Australian citizenship.

 

Congratulation to all new Australian citizens with their Australian Citizneship certificate.
